Wild at Heart Adventures

ATV/Side by Side and Dirt Bikes

Take a ride through the mountains of Southern Utah for an all day adventure with some of the most scenic views in the country. You must bring your own ATV, Side by Side and/or Dirt Bike or plan on riding with a friend for this event. There are several rental facilities in Brian Head or Duck Creek. Remember it will be your responsibility to get the machines to the camp and back to the rental facilities. We will be breaking out this event based on skill level and type of machine. Please make sure to indicate your skill level while registering for the event.

Hiking

Enjoy this moderate hike over scenic meadows and mountains where the views are unmatched. This hike will require a moderate level of physical fitness to participate.

Cross Country Mountain Biking

Enjoy a spectacular ride around the beautiful and scenic Navajo Lake. This adventure starts at the west side of the lake and takes you through the mountain side and eventually back down to the lake. You must bring your own bike for this event.

Lake Fishing

There is nothing better than a day on the lake fishing. Spend the day on Panguitch Lake catching some of the regions finest trout. You must bring your own fishing gear. There will be a $30 boat fee payable to Jerry DeSimone on the mountain prior to the event. You can also get your fishing license at the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources prior to the event. Fishing license cost vary but you can get a non resident 3-day license for $31.

Golfing

Spend the day golfing in the fresh mountain air against the backdrop of the Red Hills on the east bench of Cedar City. Cedar Ridge is a par 73 with five par 5's offering plenty of birdie and eagle chances. You must bring or rent your own clubs and be prepared to pay $40 for green fees (including cart) payable at the golf course.

Archery

Archery is one of the oldest hunting skills and requires practice and patience to master. Enjoy learning and practicing more while enjoying nature. There will be a $10 charge for arrows payable to the event leader on the mountain.

Food Ministry

Enjoy grilling and want to learn more? How about learning and serving as part of the Food Ministry Team. Our chefs will teach you some of the best bar-b-que and smoking techniques around all while helping to serve God and the men on the mountain.
